A sort of replacement for Search.

Me, I don't shop inworld much. If I need something, I need it now. If I can't find it on marketplace, I do without. Shopping as done in SL is a recreation and I don't have lots of time for it.

But my issue with Marketplace is the ruin it is causing to SL. With people able to make money and not have to spend a penny on land anymore, people are cutting back their inworld stores. And frankly, both or necessary, or you'll be able to buy clothes and have noplace to wear them.

Marketplace needs a limit on how many items you can sell, based on land. If you are homeless, you can sell 10 items on the marketplace. If you have land, you add m^2/100 items to your store. So someone with 16 parcels (8192m) can sell 10 + 81 items in the marketplace. This would fix the problems with people abandoning inworld stores AND cutting their prices in the marketplace, since people still have to pay for their land. It also limits the freebies; no more 1000s of free items in a store at no cost.Shockwavenoreply@blogger.com
