The Back Side of the Moon
Betty Tureaud, artist, and Ultraviolet Alter, composer presented a new
art installation in La Vista del Mar. The Back Side of the Moon is the
first of a series called Art Planets 2013. A well attended opening party
took place on the back side of the moon on Friday. The exhibit is an explosion
of color in varied patterns, and not at all what I would expect the back side of
the moon to be. There is an expanse of color and motion all around .. so is
there a back side?
The music fit the color and movement. It is all set in a
great orb in the sky. This first installation will be here for 30 days and after
that the exhibit will change to another in the series. More than 40 people
arrived at the opening, including some of the SL artists. The stage where
ultraviolet played displayed lovely lips. Trill Zapatero, an SL artist,
called the exhibit,”an extravaganza of color and sound and
movement”
