The Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education (VWBPE) conference started yesterday on April 9. The event was opened by none other than Philip Rosedale, the former Philip Linden. As one can see, he's gone a long way from his days of an avatar with a spiky hair and mustache, "Rocky Horror" T-shirt, and a technicolor codpiece. He talked about virtual worlds, his company High Fidelity, and the Oculus Rift viewer.
