Railroad Stop at the Newser Office

The work on the land of the Sunweaver community never seems to stop these days. Those going about the Sunweaver Estates have noticed railroad tracks in the Sunweaver Space sim for some time. In October, Cynthia Farshore told the Newser the railroad would soon be extended into Sunlight Bay. Earlier this week, the rail system was extended into HV Community. As the "Brandi's Intimates" store and the SL Newser office were the largest public locations at ground level, the railroad was laid between them on a bridge with a station there.

Laying the track and building the station required the taking down of one fountain as it couldn't be reduced in size. But no doubt the rail system will be an interesting touch to the sim.

The railroad tracks have been extended to the edge of the Sunny Beach sim. Getting the system through there and into Sunweaver Bay will require talks with the owner.

Correction: Earlier the Newser wrote that Cynthia Farshore's friend Shockwave Yareach was helping her build the railroad. He has since contacted us saying the work was all hers.

Advertisement: The AFK Live Trap by Brandi's Intimates

Brandi Streusel, the owner of "Brandi's Intimates," is best known for her line of undergarments, earning her store the nickname "Brandi's Panties." But she's been making more than that. At the Happy Vixen, she recently demonstrated her "AFK Live Trap."

Tired of patrons AFKing in your club? 

Have a little fun with them by placing them in a live trap. 

Trap door swings shut but only the owner can release the victim. 

Comes with its own a piece of cheese bait or replace it with any bait you so desire to lure them in.

Intended for use at a club as a good-natured prank on those who go away from the keyboard unannounced, the trap can be used anywhere the owner has rezz rights. The cage can be placed on top of someone, but only the owner can open the door. Of course, the person inside can just teleport right out, but it's intended for those AFK, as the title suggests. Although the trap has a piece of cheese inside, one can replace it with some other kind of "bait" such as coins or swimsuit issue magazines.

The cage comes in two sizes, small and large, for the low prices of 25 and 50 Lindens.

RECoyote Mindes Fundraiser Event Tuesday Jan 31, Brandi's Intimates Selling Items

Yesterday it was announced that the Happy Vixen would be holding a "Tail Sale" to raise funds for it's friend and neighbor RECoyote Mindes. Details have also been made available about another fundraiser. The club's normal weekly events on Tuesday will be changed slightly for a benefit, the tip jar taking in funds to help out their community's benefactor last year, whom is now in need.

Also at the club, Brandi Streusel of Brandi's Intimates, known to her fans as "Brandi's Panties," is putting up several items of clothing up for sale, the proceeds of each going to help out RECoyote. Like a number of her other products, these are of a rather cheeky nature (some of which we can't show on the paper's front page).

The benefit on Tuesday January 31 runs from 4 to 6PM with DJ Geerkil, and 6 to 8PM with DJ Tantari.

Brandi's Intimates Making Outfits Mesh-Friendly

Brandi's Intimates, sometimes called "Brandi's Panties" by her friends. is making some alterations to it's apparel. Brandi Tungsten is in the process of making her garments mesh friendly. One example of what can now be worn by mesh avatars is her snakeskin bikini. *KL* Lena and Maitreya body appliers are included.

Star Trek Themed Panties at Brandi's Intimates

Brandi's Intimates, also known to her fans as "Brandi's Panties," is offering a selection of ladies undergarments with a "Star Trek" theme. They come in three colors: yellow for engineering, blue for science and medical, and red for security (or walking targets). The red undies have optional phaser burn holes in the back, which brings to mind jokes about lady redshirts getting it in the end.
