The Buddha Garden

 

It's August, and things in Second Life are slowing down some after the SL Birthday and Summer Burn. So Gemma Cleanslate was looking for a place that was relaxing. She came across the Buddha Garden. This area has many places to relax from beaches to waterfalls to a dining area, and of course temples.

Second Life Destinations: Surfing Enthusiasts

For those of you in Europe, northern Asia, Canada, and the US who miss the warm summer months already, and aren't too crazy about the ice and snow for the next few months, relief in Second Life is just a teleport away. In the latest Second Life Destinations on the Linden blog, there's a focus on surfing spots. And it includes a video by Draxtor Despress.

Catch a wave and hit the beach! The surf is up in Second Life, and the sunshine, beach sand, and horizon are the perfect place to feel the thrill of riding those waves! Even if you can't hit the beach in the physical world, you can surf all year long in the Internet's largest virtual world Second Life.

Cape Florida

With many residents having to live with a cold winter in real life, many dream of taking a place where it's warm and sunny. But real-life vacations can often be a big hassle and expense. But here in Second Life, a sunny beach is just a few clicks away. Gemma Cleanslate recently went to one picturesque place with lots of warm oceanfront scenery: Cape Florida State Park. Owned by Teren Silverheart, the sim has a lighthouse you can walk the stairs up, a club with the dance floor over an aquarium, and of course beautiful beaches.

Aloha Beach

Ever need a place in which you can head to and just sit back and relax for a while? Wesley Regenbogen recently came across one: Aloha Beach. Here, one can play sports, dance to the music with a friend, or just sit back and watch the surf lap at the sand.
