When you join the group Historical Hunts, Ltd. you can obtain a list of all the merchants' shops so that you can start wherever you like.  The hunters group is extremely valuable when you are stumped and need help, or simply to meet like-minded friends.

FOR MORE INFORMATION:

There is NO HINT BLOG!  You will find hints at each shop location.

We ask you these favors:

● Please do not contact shop owners directly.  All enquiries should come to Perryn Peterson in the form of notecards as I/Ms are frequently capped.

● Please respect everyone participating:  designers, shop owners, other hunters.  We expect courtesy in the group I/M as well.

● Please keep your lag as low as possible while hunting; do not wear a lot of prims, scripts and items like bling, weapons and HUDs.  These will slow things down for everyone.

All hunt items are clickable and will place items directly into your inventory in folders.

Enjoy and bring lots of friends with you!

Abnor Mole's Hidden Cave

Taking a peek at Daniel Voyager's Blog, He mentioned a hidden Mole cave on the south coast of Eastern Bellissaria. So I went over to take a look myself. In the Rigamarole sim, there's a dock where boats can be rezzed near a waterfall at the coast, the water coming from a rocky stream leading from a pond. In some stories, some interesting things can be found behind waterfalls. And here there was something interesting as well.

Walking through the waterfall, behind it is a cavern. And in the middle of the cavern is a trailer, one owned by Abnor Mole. Going inside, there were crates of supplies, including an open one full of crystals. There were also some pictures on the wall, including an "anti mind-control device."

Then there was the computer desk. There were three screens. The left one was actively playing a list of Youtube videos, which could be heard if the media button was playing. The middle screen was a forwarded Tweet of a picture of Magellan Linden. The right screen had, pornographic material. The state of the desk area around the keyboard was a bit sloppy. There were a few bottles of booze, including "Magellan's Irish Cream," and a stack of beer cans. There was also a cigar in an ash tray, and a book, "The Ultimate Guide to Tinfoil" by Magellan Linden.

So it seems Magellan Linden has been hiding out in Abnor Mole's trailer. Hopefully his searches for frisky material, presumably after all that booze, didn't get the computer any malware.

The cave can be found near: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Rigamarole/192/154/22

Addition: It turns out the screens with Youtube and the adult website had been set up by an unknown resident due to an oversight when the computer was set up.

The CDS Catacombs

The Confederation of Democratic Simulators has many places worth seeing. Some are plainly obvious such as the Praetorium where official business by the government is done. But some are well hidden. Last month, I was shown around one notable hidden area, the Catacombs, by Lilith Ivory. So was it simply just dusty passages, or was there more?

Caledon's Thirteenth Anniversary

Last week, Caledon celebrated it's thirteenth anniversary. They did so not with one, but several events. The Newser couldn't be at every single one, but we were at several, and took a number of pictures, as well as hearing and seeing a few things.

Haunted Enchantment Isle

The Enchantment Island Haunted, Spooky, Ghosts and Creepy is my third haunted house to visit. Luckily there is a notecard that you will use to help you enjoy all the fun in the house. The visit to the dining room is eye opening. Have a seat! A very spooky skeleton band will entertain you in the music room.

There are interactive activites if you look for them. Have a seat in the living room and you will see a delightful skeleton who dances just for you.  Watch that fire place in the living room . Climb the stairs to the upper floor and knock on the doors . The master bedroom is full of fun to find. The attic is especially poignant as you listen to the voices of the children and find their toys scattered about. You wonder what happened to them all.

This house was built by Aragon Sommer with Bambitwice Nightly of the Museum of Illusions and Magic, about which I wrote last year. Hidden places await you, just have to find them. Luckily for us there are clues in the notecard. After you visit the house, outside the gate there is a teleport to the store where you can actually take home some of the parts of the house, or all of it!
