Caledon's Battle of Wits

 

Last weekend, yours truly attended an event some might say was overqualified to take part in, Caledon's "Battle of Wits." This fundraiser hosted by the Relay's Team ACTS was supposed to be a contest between those on stage who could crack one joke and pun after another. Things didn't go quite according to plan, but it all turned out well. Perhaps not so much for some of the jokes. In this spree of groaners, it was a must to be oh=pun minded.

Caledon ACTS Battle of Wits April 18th!

2 hours of puns, wordplay and silly music. An opportunity for punsters, wielders of delicious insults, crafters of atrocious prose and masters of non-sequiturs to show off their talents and raises funds for Relay for Life in Second Life.

Dress Code: none, but no nudity

Cartoon of The Day: Why The Cow

 

Taken at the BBB Exhibit at the SL19B. Gary Larson of "The Far Side" would write that he probably had so many cartoons involving cows because there seemed to be something intrinsically funny about them. And certain expressions of ours just add to it. I guess if you're looking for comedy gold, sometimes it's better instead of shooting for the moon to jump over it.
