Racers Island Raceways

Grease Coakes' latest article is a little on the fast track as he takes his need for speed to Racer Island Raceways. With fifteen racetracks, there's all kinds of high speed challenges. There's also a weekly demolition derby. Grease gives the roads a try, and talks to owner Eddie Mathieson.

For those looking for a more exciting event on Sunday evenings, or want a car race with a twist, check out the Demolition Derby in Random. One gets to participate in a number of races with a number of kinds of vehicles. If you like racing or vehicular combat, you'll have a "smashing" good time.

The Derby at Areo Pines

Last weekend was the Kentucky Derby in real life. In Second Life, Gemma Cleanslate went to a Kentucky Derby party at Areo Pines park, which has had a history with horses with it's riding along nature trails. During the party, Cindy Bolero, the owner of Areo Pines, had a special announcment.
