Beverly Montgomery's Memorial Service

 

NCI Kuula - New Citizens Incorporated has a number of people behind it to help newcomers. Sadly one of them, Beverly Montgomery, passed away last month. On Sunday May 21, the people there held a memorial service for her, which included real-life family. There were problems covering the event, but thanks to a couple people it was done.

So what if you want to invite a friend to Second Life, but won't always be around to help him or her out? Or perhaps you haven't yet gone to Second Life but are interested, and came across this article while looking for information. Well, one place for help is "The Shelter" at Isabel  (26, 249, 86), which was created to help out newcomers. But this isn't the only location where newbies can get help. Second Life Enquirer's Ladylovedr Resident did a look around and found several, such as NCI, Virtual Ability, and more.

Not long ago, Wesley Regenbogen interviewed Brace Coral, the founder of New Citizens Incorporated, a helper group aimed at educating newcomers about Second Life. Recently, Brace contacted Wesley again. There were some changes in the group that she wanted to get the word out about.
