New Year's Eve was a busy time in Second Life, with many places having parties. Yours truly went to several, and took a number of pictures. So many were taken, it took a while to get them all up. But here they are.

Announcement:Club United's Christmas and New Year's Party


IT'S A PARTY! And YOU are invited!

Please join us at Club United on Wednesday December 28th, from 5 to 9 pm SLT, for the first annual Christian Christmas Party. Everyone is welcome whether you are a member of one of the sponsoring groups or not.

Theme is "Red & Green".
There will be contests every hour.

Formal attire preferred but not required.

Get ready to have some fun, meet new people, and generally have a great time!

And maybe have a surprise or 2. :)

PS: Club United is located on the G-rated Eternal Life sim. Please dress appropriately. Thanks!

Bay City Celebrates it’s Third Anniversary

The place in Second Life designed by the Lindens to reflect the urban experience in it's heyday celebrated three years on the Grid. There was a parade across several sims, and a music concert attended by dozens.

Ringing in the New Year In Second Life

Although some people were absent in Second Life on New Years Eve heading to real-life events, others chose to stay home due to tipsy drivers on the road or other reasons. And for them, there were a number of dance parties and other events to attend.
