Reader Submitted: A SL Surf Battle Royale

With much of the world going into isolation due to the Coronavirus, people are going into Second Life to enjoy what they couldn't otherwise in real life. But you can also enjoy activities in which it would otherwise be too cold or would require traveling too far, such as surfing. Shiny Journo (NarayanRaja Resident) recently sent in a reader submission about  "a SL surf battle royale." Twenty contestants will compete in three events in three sims in an event that he called "the Triple Crown of surfing."

The New Sunny Beach

There's been some changes in one of the sims that make up the neighborhood where the Newser's office makes it's home: Sunny Beach. And the one whom ended up in charge of these changes was none other than the Newser's Becky "Sha" Shamen, after a friend of hers moved in and needed a little help shaping his new land. Becky describes some of the new features and attractions she built in giving the sim it's new look.
