Raglan Shire Map Follies
About a year ago, The Raglan Shire region was the scene of some map madness. Last week, it started up again, with someone skywriting "Bears Smell" over the sim that "bears" the region's name. What local ursines had to say about the statement is unknown.
Yesterday when I looked, the message over the sim was gone, but over Raglan Galaxy was a new one: "Frog Gang Was 'ere.' Just who the "Frog Gang" would be is unknown, though Frogg Marlowe of "Jaycatt and Frogg" can be ruled out.
What mayhem on the map will be next, time will tell.

Raglan Map Madness: "Stay Crunchy"
Just when you thought it was safe again to look at the map over Raglan Shire.
From early November to early January, with a respite for Christmas, Raglan Shire, or specifically the Raglan Galaxy sim has been the subject of some pranking/airborne graffiti. Since then, nothing new has been posted about the map until the weekend when Linn Darkwatch posted this picture on Facebook, "Apparently it's Bunneh Butt Friday in Raglan Galaxy," a reference to Raglanders posting pictures of the behinds of rabbits on the community's Facebook page as some kind of inside joke.
Whatever "Stay Crunchy" means hasn't been guessed at. But it seems the Raglan map pranks are back.
*Addition* Linn Darkwatch stated in the comments, "'Stay Crunchy' is a motto of Zayn Till, the Raglan sims' magistrate"

The Madcap Map Mayhem Continues at Raglan
In what has become an ongoing situation since November, the Raglan Galaxy sim has been subject to a series of pranks by one or more individuals. After a "Wootmas" truce, On New Year's an overhead look at the map showed things were looking rather sheepish. But over the next few days, the "sky graffiti" would change, as Linn Darkwatch would post on Facebook a couple days ago.
"The skies over Raglan Galaxy seem to be in a graffiti war. January 1st there was a sheep with Baa Baa Baa. By Jan. 10th it had turned into a grumpy cat face with Baa Baa Baa. This evening we have an unbearable situation."There were a few chuckles and comments of mock outrage afterwards, "This is scandalous, something should be done, where is the Law?" Someone asked how this was being done, and Linn offered an answer, "Objects above a certain height don't show on the map - that's why the space station doesn't show on the normal view of Raglan Galaxy. The huge blue prim, words, and picture are all placed just below the space station - high enough not to be seen from the ground, low enough to show on map view. If you want to know who did it, do what I did: jump off the space station and fall a short distance, then fly when you see the blue go past you, and inspect the prims to see whose they are. There's more than one person in on this gag, but I'm not telling who!"
So what kind of tom foolery is next for Raglan Shire? It's just a matter of time before we find out.

"Baaaaaad News," More Map Mayhem at Raglan
Just thought when you thought it was safe to check the Second Life map over Raglan Shire.
Readers may remember when in November, when someone left a "Cats Rule" message in huge letters high above the Raglan Galaxy sim in Raglan Shire. It would come down in a few days, only to be followed by similar messages of "Bear Butt" and "Merry Wootmass," by whom Linn Darkwatch, a resident of the tiny community, called the "Merry Prankster."Well, the new year has just barely started, and the Merry Prankster is at it once again. Lynn Darkwatch on January 1 posted another map picture of the sim, and there was a picture of a sheep and sheep calls of "baa." A few other Raglanders made comments like "I see those scandalous sheep are at it again!" and "how do yew3 do dat anyways?"
Given what happened the first couple times, this should be only up for a few days. But it seems the "Merry Prankster" is still working his mischief on the noted tiny community.

No Butts About It, More Raglan Map Funnery
Just a few days after we reported on the "Cats Rule" sky graffiti that appeared over the Raglan Galaxy sim that was clearly visible on the Second Life map in the middle of the Raglan area, Linn Darkwatch posted on Facebook that something new had popped up. The words were not gone, but changedThere was no explanation as to who was the "butt" of this joke, though there was a little chatter about it, "Who ever did do this is a greefer, but must be clever to put letters over a full sim!" "I think ish just a Tiny having fun."
But a few days alter, another peek at the map showed the letters were gone. So after about a week, this set of hijinks of the tinies of Raglan Shire had come to an end. But Raglan being Raglan, there's little doubt something will happen soon.

Map Moggy Mayhem at Raglan
A few days ago on Facebook, Linn Darkwatch posted this map screenshot in the Raglan Shire group, showing that a little aerial graffiti had been done over the Raglan Galaxy sim: "CATS RULE." She would demand, "Okay, you TAGS, fess up: who did this?"
To my knowledge, no one has come forward to bear responsibility for this pro-feline statement. Linn's post was followed by snickers and comments like "dey has gone too far dis time!" and "at least it written in purkle."
I would later check the map for myself. The sim's appearance had changed, but the letters were sill there, just now a red color this time.
No telling how long this latest episode of hijinks in Second Life's most noted community of tinies will last.
