As as part of The River of Live's, Relay For Life Team we are putting on an egg decorating contest.

We have given you a full perm egg to be able to explore your mind and creativity! We want to see you create a unique egg to raise money for the fight against cancer! And have fun while doing it!

When you have completed it please return it to Kenashae Bikergrrl and she will place it on our decorated tables with an official RFL kiosk. If you are with another team and wish to split the funds between your team and The River of Life, please let WyldChild Raven know....

Reader Submitted: Furry Pride Flag At Deathlands, But Nobody Notices

 

 

 From Rebel Wolf (Hermitblue) of the Deathlands, a picture of a "furry pride" flag over a watchtower, "It's actually my longest running joke, or Easter egg. The Flag shows  up now and then on a building or in this case the tower. The idea is someone is gonna spot it and ask. Nope. 3thd time up. I'm disappointed. They mentioned the phone that is upside down, and found the hooker NPC......"

 

Announcement: Sunweaver Easter Hunt 2019 - Dungeons and Dragon's Eggs

This Easter, from Mar14 through the week after Easter, the Sunweavers are holding their annual Easter egg hunt.  14 eggs wait for you to  find them.  Just wear the Easter basket you get from the chocolate bunny at the entrance, and touch the eggs as you find them.  Then they appear in the basket.  Simple, right?

oh yes -- simple.  Except this year they are DRAGON eggs, and are hidden in the catacombs of SunWaterTwo. 

But not to worry.  This years' egg hunt doesn't have traps and monsters. This years... next year, who knows.  But what good is a dungeon crawl without treasure? 

There are two prizes.  The first 3 people to find all 14 Easter eggs in the dungeons, win 1000L apeice.  And anyone finding all of them, gets a special prize with a steampunk flair that you can't buy in any store (yet.)

The eggs are cleverly hidden.  But they aren't unfindable.  But of course, there are some rules:

* the eggs will never be underwater
* the eggs will never be outside the dungeons
* the eggs will never be inside something -- you can see it without
opening anything.

Basically they will all be where you can see them just standing there, walking about the catacombs.

Easter Egg Hunt at Sunlight Bay

It's Easter weekend. And Shockwave Yareach has a little something for the Sunweaver community, and anyone else wanting to enjoy. He has another Easter egg hunt up, one with fourteen eggs to find.

This weekend only -- get a basket from the bunny at the train station, and find all 14 eggs hidden in Sunlight Bay.  You only have the weekend, so hunt fast!  Eggs are found walking levels only  -- no skyboxes or underwater.  Free to everyone!

To start, head to the basket-giver, the chocolate bunny next to the train station at Sunlight Bay (116/45/22). While yours truly isn't giving exact locations, one egg isn't too far from where you get the basket. There's at least one egg in the Goblin Cave.

I found several eggs in about ten minutes looking around. Can you find all fourteen?

The Gacha Guild Springtime Carnival and the Great Easter Egg Hunt

There's a couple of fun events in Second Life that are almost over. One is the Gacha Guild Springtime Carnival. Located at a carnival area in the Dew Drop sim, there are rides such as the human cannonball and a ferris wheel, and a number of gachas one can play.

Also going on is the Great Easter Egg Hunt. Organized by Caspertech, the shopping hunt event boasts 297 stops and 500 eggs that each have a prize. For details, check the website at https://www.casperpanel.com/easter .

Easter Town

Easter is almost here. And that means Easter Town is back. Built by Laura Liberty, the location appears in Second Life every year. One can shop at the various stores, but you don't need money to enjoy th place with it's brightly colored themed scenery, freebies, a peep race, and of course Easter eggs and bunnies. Gemma Cleanslate was there, and here's her story.

Easter Fun in Second Life

There were a number of places to find Easter fun this season. At the Liberty Town sim, one can drop by and visit Easter Town. Since the Newser dropped by in 2012 (news article), the fun has continued to take place every year, with a few decorations added since then.

The Aero Pines part has thawed out from it's winter snow and turned green with the spring. As usually, they're holding an Easter Egg hunt with prizes in the eggs hidden around the sims. And one can continue to enjoy the everyday activities such as horseback riding.

And the Easter Egg hunt at the Sunweaver Estates continues at Pacific Waters (51, 86, 31). If you haven't dropped by, do so before it's too late.

Several stores, such as Furry Fashion, have also held some egg hunts, hiding the eggs around their store grounds.

Press Relase: Sunweaver Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt! Farshore Field March 28th

It's that time of year again and with it comes the Easter Egg Hunt. Once again Shockwave Yareach has devised a search for little treasures. Yes treasure eggs just what every Sunny Pirate wants. Course such will not be on a shelf for you to grab, oohhh nnooo! You must search low and high and AVAST no map! On the date of 28th of March be it a Saturday you must voyage to The Puddle Jumper store on the Pacific Waters sim The Puddle Jumper, Pacific Waters (51, 86, 31) there upon it's counter you will find a chocolate bunny and the start of your search. Simply touch the bunny and us basket cases will send you a basket and a note card instruction.

The entire sim is yours to hunt and granting a little mercy I shall tell you a hint. Thy shall not the need to search in the clouds though high it may be nor does one need to be a fish though close it may come.
