Interview With Xirana Oximoxi

 

Among the artists showing their real-life works here in Second Like is Xirana Oximoxi (Nuria Vives). Her work is shown in a number of places inworld from landscapes to abstracts to illustrations books. Kayly Iali recently met up with her, and interviewed her about her inspirations, galleries, and her children's stories.

Our newest reporter, Kayly Iali, recently sat down with Second Life and real-life artist Judilynn India. Judilyn has been involved in artistic events such as Burn2. But she also has art at two galleries in Second Life. She had much to tell Kayly about how she got started in art, and in Second Life.

Fractal Insanity and Rose Theater


Having gotten an update to her Art Gallery HUD, Gemma Cleanslate is back from visiting two of the locations she found on there. Fractal Insanity, as it's name implies, has a show of fractal art. It's displays are by Millie Sharple. The other is the Rose Theater Gallery, a large gallery with many artist's works on show.

Gallery Roundup: Tate-Canning, The Bailywick and Berg by Nordan


Klaus Bereznyak has been checking out the art gallery scene in Second Life. Three exhibitions got his attention. One was some of Whiskey Monday's work at LEA6, the Tate-Canning gallery. Another was the Bailywick, which has the work of four artists. Last but hardly least is Berg, in which the exhibition, appropriately called LOSS, is dedicated to Amona Savira, an artist who passed away earlier this year.
