Impromptu Party At The SLB

On Sunday July 13, I got a heads up about an impromptu party at the Second Life Birthday grounds. So I hopped over to take a look when I had a moment. It was still going on, with a couple dozen people around. But earlier it had been larger.

The party too place at SLB Irresistible, an adult sim. So not everybody could be put in the picture.

All official events at the Second Life Birthday are over, so if you see activity, somebody decided to hold an event on their own.

Scenes At The SLB: Pony Play

I had a spare five minutes the other day, so I decided to check out the SL Birthday. I noticed a large group of dots on the map in the exhibit area, so curious I TPed over. Once the red clouds, most of them, cleared away, what I saw was a herd of ponies running around. I noticed something else; they were rolling what looked like a large egg around. The third thing I noticed, there was someone inside.

I'd seen this group of ponies before at the Fantasy Faire running around, and now here they were at the SLB, having found something to roll around.  They went past me, and headed down some road.

As for the lady in the egg, SarahKB7 Koskinen, she's been in the paper a few times, such as wanting to be the first to sail between two newly connected continents

Grease Coakes in the Land of the Giants

Longtime residents who were around several years ago might have seen the "Greenies" sim, a place in which one appeared mouse-sized in someone's house. Today, "Greenies" is gone, but there is another sim that can make you feel pretty small: "Land of the Giants." Visited last year by Gemma Cleanslate, more recently, Grease Coakes took a look at the place. Grease gave his own review of the place one year later.

Land of the Giants

Many older residents in Second Life remember the "Greenies Home" sim, a place that was two giant rooms that made visitors seem mouse-sized. While the Greenies have long left Second Life, there is a place in the Grid where one can explore giant rooms of which the size difference makes the ordinary look extraordinary. Second Life Newser found out about the location, and Gemma Cleanslate went to explore the huge builds, which had a number of fun activities as well.

Sneak Peek: Land of the Giants

Yours truly has been exploring a little, and not yet finished with other articles came across one worth exploring: "Land of the Giants," at the Random sim along with the Demo Derby owned by the people at "Creations for Parkinsons."

So until I get to writing about the place, here's a link for you to see for yourselves.

Random Ride Through the Stargate

Xymbers Slade recently decided to do some exploring. Not sure where to go, he went to a Stargate to teleport him to random locations in it's network. Not having used it before, he wasn't sure what to expect. What he found, he wrote about.
