On Veterans Day, Saturday November 11, I dropped by the Veterans Tribute, which was having events much of the day at the carrier Enterprise. Dena McMahon was the DJ for the Noon to 2 PM event, and played a number of patriotic tunes. She concluded her set with the "United States Armed Forces Medley," featuring parts of the anthems of all the US Military Branches.

The big event was the night before on Friday November 10, when the US Marine Corps Ball took place from 6 to 9 PM SL time. The event, held in honor of the anniversary of the US Marine Corps founding, was packed, with almost eighty avatars on the sim, "The Marine Corps Ball was amazing!! Up to, last count, around 78 of our most amazing people!"
Other locations, such as Club Cutlass, would also have Veterans Day events.
The Veterans Tribute will be up until tomorrow, Tuesday November 14.
