Taken at The Continental sim. This was a display of a mummy on a motorbike. But it could easily be mistaken for a guy in bandages, which is what can easily happen if a rider takes a spill.

Wesley Regenbogen on Cobras MC and "Be The Match"

Wesley Regenbogen is a biker in Second Life. He's a member of the Cobra's Motorcycle Club, or Cobra's MC. But he also wants to raise money for "Be The Match," a group that helps people with blood donor matches. Deaflegacy recently met up with him, and gave him an interview. He had a few things to say.

Rally MC tents are free on a strict first come first served basis.
Tents and trailers may be claimed from Wednesday March 20 bright and early,
There is a 50 prim limit on the free tents provided.
If you would like to set out a trailer, you can rent a space by buying the pad for 150L for 100 prims.

Interview with Helvis Xue, Prez of Cobras MC

Earlier, Wesley Regenbogen wrote about what it takes to get into a motorcycle club in Second Life. But what does it take to run one? Recently. he had a chance to talk to Helvis Xue, the President, or "The Prez" of the Cobras MC. Helvis talked about how he came to Second Life, and a little about running the club.

Bikers do not exactly have the best of reputations. Even though most clubs of them would rather just ride and avoid trouble, one walking into a room doesn't exactly inspire calm. Relay Bike Rally at "Perri's Xanadu"

At 4PM SL time, The Passionate Redheads held their Biker Rally event. The location was the classic rock club Green Meadows, also known as "Perri's Xanadu." Club owner Perri Prinz acted as the DJ, spinning a number of tunes, mostly from the 60s & 70s. Many of course were biker-themed.

Several of the bikes were contributed by Twistmy Gears of the Road Rash group. But there were others from Daniella Looming and Brandi Streusel. Besides dancing, a few hopped on the bikes to spin around, or kick up a lot of smoke and noise in a "burnout." Close to two dozen people showed up, including Cocktail Lounge owner Rich Mordly, and FCA club alliance leader Nydia Tungsten.

About 4,000 Lindens were raised at the event, bringing the total raised by the Passionate Redheads team to 35,000 even.

The Green Meadows Club is at the HV Community sim at (68, 207, 4051).

Passionate Redheads to hold RFL Bike Rally Event.

Today at 4PM, the Passionate Redheads Relay for Life team hold their Bike Rally party. The Event will take place at the Green Meadows Club, also known as Perri's Xanadu. Perri Prinz will be the DJ for the event. Instead of tips, Relay kiosk will be there to accept donations. Suggested dress is biker wear.

4PM to when the last one leaves, HV Community (68, 207, 4051)

Press Release: RFL "Road Rash Relay Rally" Saturday Racing & Music Event

"Just a heads-up notice for this Saturday's event. We will be doing some races for fun and a good cause. Krisie Snowdrop will be singing for the first hour, starting at 3PM SL time. Come by and listen to her beautiful voice. Then DJ Twist will be taking over.

"Hope you can all make it and bring your friends. Don't forget you can still be invited to the group."

Biker Rally at ZZ Studios

Recently at ZZ Studios, the adult media company hosted an event different than what most would expect there, a biker rally. The event was attended by studio and club staff, in addition to their fans and lots of bikes. And of course, Cindy "Zig Zag" Babi was there.
