The organizers have lined up charity auctions, entertainment, demonstrations--even a kissing booth. Oxfam International has been chosen as the charity recipient this year. Proceeds from the vendor fees, specialty auctions, and some events will go to this group. Many of the vendors are pledging all or part of their proceeds to the charity, too. Oxfam International is comprised of 13 organizations, working in 99 countries, to alleviate poverty and injustice. More about this charity can be found at www.oxfam.org.
Beginning Monday, October 11, demonstrations and classes relating to jewelry making will be held. A complete schedule of the classes and times, as well as a convenient list of landmarks, is available at the site.
The Fair will run through October 17.
