The University of San Martin de Porres from Perú is offering a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course)
called "Introduction to Second Life for Educators". This course is
designed to help Spanish-speaking educators in the use of Second Life as
a starting point in their interaction with emerging and innovative
environments that can be used for education.
This initiative meets the needs of students who are experiencing this
new way of learning and studying in virtual environments, as well as
their tendency for increased use of technology.
