Announcement: HFOT June 2021 Donations

Hello to all Homes For Our Troops supporters,

I hope your summer is providing you with “fun in the sun” and all is well.

I am happy to report that in June we sent $1350 to Homes for Our Troops.  That is a 40% increase over 2020’s May totals of $960.  Our total for 2021 is now $11677.5 .  So we are on track to beat last years total of over $15000 ….and hopefully stay in the list of top ten donors for HFOT!

In communicating with Jamie Crossman, HFOT’s Director of Individual Giving, we discussed how fundraising can be frustrating at times.  Putting in a lot of time and effort and not reaching goals.  However, the effort by the Second Life Community keeps moving forward each month.  And as a result Jamie expressed this about our efforts for Homes For Our Troops in Second Life:

"Thank you so much for all of your continued time, talents and energy on our behalf!"

Let’s once again thank the folks who made that extra effort to move us forward.

First of all the performers and managers as well as our Dj’s.  Thank you:

Waya Snowpaw DJ
Melodee McDonnell
Reggie Sunset Rookswood and his manager Mina Weissbrod
Max Kleene
and Stephanniyah Sinatra and her management Shooting Stars Management

I also want to thank everyone who attended and generously donated at my performance on June 19.  I especially want to thank Gigi (DancinGigi) for all her help that evening!  It was fun and we will do it again.

Then let us also thank those who put forward some special efforts in the month of June.  Thank you:

J.J. Roseblood and Four Seasons  DFS Marketplace & Auction
EastbayRay, Cattleya Lovette LadySmack Gears and the Legion of Vets MC
JulesA Flow, Salonios Koolhoven and DOOWOPS FOREVER at Gigli  Isles
Cayleen Linette and everyone at Cay's at Woodland Lake
Creed Cloud and everyone at POW 1%MC President
Demon Rebel Rowley and Rebel Nation
BabyStarrfire Resident and the Black Valley SIM

Then once again thank you to those who continually support with kiosks spread throughout the grid:

Blaze Teardrop and all the folks at City of Woodland
Bixyl Shuftan and all the folks at The Happy Vixen at Purrfection Estates
Kinsley  ƊєŁŁαʍσŗє ƊαгŁiηg and all her DJ followers
Solde Rothmanay and everyone at Key West Country
Octavia Romano and everyone at her Veteran’s Resource Centers
Starry Moonlight and the Pigeon Cove SIM
Brian Obivistrum  and his DJ followers

There are many more who have taken the time to place kiosks …to each and every one of you we say thank you.

Lastly I personally appreciate Bri McMahon and Sabryne Hotaling for all your help with our monthly event as well as my performance on June 19 at Veteran’s Isle.

Once again we ask that you continue praying for our good friend Dahlea Milena of Veteran’s Isle, who is now fighting cancer.  We pray she beats this and is back with us soon.

This year is shaping up to be the best we have ever had.  We can do this ….let’s hit $25,000 for Homes For Our Troops #1 in 2021!  THIS MEANS THE TARGET NOW IS $2250 A MONTH TO HIT THAT $25000.   It is going to be work …but it is well worth it!

Thank you for letting me a part of this.
