EOTB: Pride Month

 

The Newser has been reporting a lot on the Relay for Life and the upcoming Second Life Birthday. But there are other things going on. June being "Pride Month," there are a number of Pride events to check out and places to see. The Lab would mention some several days ago. 

... Second Life Residents will come together for many exciting events celebrating Pride Month including parties, parades, talent showcases, and art exhibitions. These celebrations highlight the creativity and solidarity of our community. 

Keep an eye on the LGBTQ+ category in the Destination Guide for an array of Pride-related destinations and upcoming events. These hotspots are perfect for immersing yourself in the festivities and connecting with fellow Residents. And whether you're dressing your avatar in vibrant rainbow gear or joining a virtual parade, remember that the heart of Pride is the celebration of love, in all its beautiful forms. Happy Pride! 🌈❤️

The Lab would mention the LGBTQ History Museum and Cultural Center, and the Second Pride event, as well as several others. 

 

Celebrate diversity at Second Pride! Second Pride 2024 is the 19th celebration of diversity in Second Life and runs from June 7th to June 16th with more than 70 performances ranging from DJs to live singers, stage productions, light shows, and more. This event's donations will benefit the It Gets Better Project. More info at: second-pride.com
