Veterans Isle Raises 50,000 Lindens For HFOT

 

On Sunday November 2, eterans Isle hosted a concert to raise money for Homes For Our Troops, a charity dedicated to improving and building homes for disabled veterans. Baring any further after-event donations, the event organized by Frets Nirvana would raise a total of 50,000 Linden dollars.  

 

The event was scheduled to go from 12 to 3 PM SL time. But the 2 to 3PM event was canceled.  

 

Ricky Haystack will not be performing at 2pm SLT today. Zak Claxton will be our final performer at 1pm SLT. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

 

Veterans Isle normally has a fundraiser for the charity about once a month, often on the first weekend of the month (though not always). The next event, baring any last minute plans for a Veterans Day concert, will be in early December.
