"A Christmas Wish" At Calas Chaladon Park

 

Christmas is just a few days away. But Gemma Cleanslate has continued to explore winter and holiday-themed places. In her latest article, she stops by a favorite area: Calas Ghaladon Park. Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith are frequently changing part of the region to match the season, and have always had something interesting to show for Christmas. This year, they had "A Christmas Wish." So how was it?

Halloween at Calas Ghaladon

 

One of Gemma Cleanslate's favorite locations is Calas Ghaladon Park, which changes it's appearance about every season. The owners have also done something special for Halloween every year. But this year is a little different. Instead of sometime entirely new, this year's build is a look back at precious builds. Gemma took a look, and was not disappointed.

Calas at Winter

Gemma's exploration of Christmas and winter-themed places took her to an old favorite, Calas Galadhon. Created by Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith, the region changes it's look every season and has something new to see and walk through. This winter, there are two new sims for the winter, and plenty of new sights all over.

New Santorini

One group of sims the Newser keeps writing about year after year is Calas Galadhon Park. The sims are always well-designed, and there's something new every few months. Sadly, in the past a few of the sims had to be shut down due to real-life finances. But recently came some good news. One of the lost sims, the Greek-themed New Santorini, is back. Calas Galadhon's Dark Moon

Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith have once again outdone themselves in their new area at Calas Galadhon. For Halloween, they're not doing what one might expect, spooky woods with ghosts and zombies. Instead, what they have this year is a science-fiction horror themed adventure: Dark Moon at the Erebor sim. So what awaits the travelers who brave the dangers to explore this alien world?

Halloween At Calas

One favorite place of Gemma Cleanslateto visit is the Calas sims. Not only is there a lot of territory to cover, but the sims change every season, and every year there's something new. In their Esgaroth sim, they've set up a Halloween area. But Gemma saw this wasn't just any run-of-the-mill haunted house.

Halloween at Calas

A few days ago, Gemma Cleanslate wrote about the Calas Galadhon sims, which had been given a new autumn look for the season. But there was one part that had yet to be opened: Valyria. Named for the abandoned city in "Game of Thrones," Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith have come up with a picturesque, spooky exhibit for this Halloween definitely worth a visit.

Noel at Calas

Earlier this week, we reported about the Calas Galadhon Park area's winter look for this season. One area that had yet to be revealed was it's special Christmas sim. Gemma Cleanslate came back to give it a visit, and was delighted with what she found.

Winter at Calas Galadhon Park

December is here, and with it the winter season. Already, a number of sims in Second Life which are normally green are turning white as they're coated with a blanket of snow, and the water covered with ice. Gemma Cleanslate takes a look at one favorite scenic place: Calas Galadhon Park. In the past, it's had some fine builds that offered winter fun with both activities and scenery. This season, builders Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith have done it again.

Darkwood

One of Gemma Cleanslate's favorite places to explore is the Calas sims, which change from season to season. For October, there's something a little different this time. There's a Halloweenish display somewhat based on the dark side of Middle Earth in "The Hobbit," “We took a few liberties …  some could say more than a few."

Winter Update

With January coming to a close, and a number of residents tiring of ice and snow, a number of sims are changing from their winter look back to green. But not all places are experiencing an early Spring. Gemma Cleanslate takes a look back at some wintery places she reported on earlier. One of them is planning a Superbowl party.

Calas Reopening

Gemma Cleanslate recently returned to the Calas Galadhon sims. She had visited them in the past. But they were recently closed for about four weeks and just reopened. For those who visited in the past, there are a number of new features. For those who haven't, this is a beautiful, picturesque place.

Calas Galadhon Park Sims

In the wintertime, among the places Gemma Cleanslate visited was one called the Park Sims or Calas. This spring, she returned to see what the place had to offer now that the snow thawed. The area's New England charm was still there with plenty of relaxing country fields. But the region also offered water activities and more.
