New Club Mardi Gras: A Carnival in Every Event

There's an exciting new club having it's Grand Opening tonight: Club Mardi Gras.

Club Mardi Gras is in FP Proteus, one of a group of legacy sims founded in 2006, and has seen some very popular clubs. The club is an open-air one, with no walls or ceiling. Next to the DJ booth, there's a couple poles for anyone wanting to poledance for tips.

Interestingly enough, Mardi Gras is set up near a carnival area. Between events, people can come by to ride the Ferris wheel or merry-go-round, skate on the rink, sail  away on a peddle boat, or try one of the games there.

Club Mardi Gras is the newest of the FCA clubs. It will be run by YuliaV. YuliaV worked for the FCA before as a talented DJ, but had to take a break due to college. Now she's back, and in charge of a club of her own.

Nydia Tungsten, the leader of the FCA, told SL Newser she is happy to have YuliaV in charge of the new club. She also stated there are plans in the works to reopen Club Fur, the oldest furry club on the Grid, possibly the oldest club in Second Life.


Club Mardi Gras has it's Grand Opening tonight Wednesday Dec 12 at 8PM SL time. There will be a 5000 Linden prize to be split among three lucky winners. Starting next week, it will play every Monday from 8PM to at least 10PM SL time.
