Some good news for science-fiction fans. The 2017 Fall/Winter Mini-Expois taking place. The event is located at the Solaris Space and Solaris Station sims, with the theme being "Rockets and Sprockets." The expo began on Saturday October 28 at 11 AM with an opening ceremony followed by a music event by a DJ Puddles.
The website described the sim theme as, "The overall setting of the Sci-Fi Mini-Expo will be fairly rustic, with a
sort of down-home, comfortable, old-fashioned Thanksgiving / Christmas
vibe with possibly a little steampunk thrown in. The season in the sim
will change partway through the Expo. Opening Day will be Autumn, with
turning leaves and pumpkins, while Closing Day will be Winter, with
snow, candy canes, and Santa. Shop interiors DO NOT need to conform to
this theme. Interiors are totally at the discretion of shop owners"There will be a sci-fi movie night event most nights at 9PM SL time. The Mini-Expo runs from Oct 28 to Jan 7.
