EOTB: Applications Being Accepted For Christmas "Shop and Hop"

It's not quite Christmas time yet. Halloween was just a few days ago and Thanksgiving is a few weeks away. But some are already getting ready and taking steps to prepare. This includes Linden Lab, whom in the Linden blog on Monday stated they were accepting applications for their Christmas "Shop an Hop" shopping event. 

Change is in the air...can you feel it? Halloween is over and Winter is fast approaching! People all across Second Life are gearing up to celebrate the holiday season with a wide range of events and activities including our annual Holiday Shop & Hop, which will be held December 8th, 2021 through January 2nd, 2022.

Applications are now open for Creators and Merchants who might want to participate in this year’s event, which will feature multiple shopping regions and tons of festive fun! 

 

The Lab would also state merchants taking part would be needing to "offer a discount on their items (at least 20% off) and provide a new non-exclusive gift to shoppers."

Those interested in taking part don't have a lot of time to act, the deadline being Monday November 8. There is a form to fill out (Here). There a a number of conditions, and the Lab stated submitting a form is no guarantee of being let in once the event starts.
