On Wednesday July 5, there was a concert held high above the Veterans Isle sim. The event was to raise funds for the Homes For Our Troops charity. From 4 to 9PM SL time, a DJ and several live musicians performed for the crowd. The event was organized in part by Frets Nirvana.

and help those who have made huge sacrifices for the freedom that we
enjoy.
When the event started at 4PM, DJ Zack Friller played some tunes for the crowd. At 5PM, it was Varda Sedia's turn to sing. Austin Moores' moment on stage came at 6PM. At 7Pm, it was Acoustic Energy's turn to sound off. And last but not least was Hogan Baily at 8 PM. As the musicians played for the crowd, people donated to two house-shaped kiosks on stage.
By the end of the event soon after 9PM, a total of 152,550 Linden dollars had been collected by both kiosks combined.
