Whole Brain Health is launching a monthly series of programs on the theme “Aging with Purpose” by hosting a magical, mystical, musical kickoff event this Sunday, October 4 from 11am-12pm SLT that will delight and enlighten you and your friends. Come support our goal: to win one of the AARP Purpose Prizes in 2027.
Dance with us on the WBH Fairgrounds and learn what WBH is planning as we and our nonprofit parent organization, Ageless Mind Project, prepare to apply for the Purpose Prize. We want to gather clear evidence that people over age 50 can improve their wellbeing in Second Life, just as much as in the physical world, by taking part in activities that we and our sister organizations offer.
Please support us by coming by during our hour of “serious fun"! DJ Tori will play her terrific purple song list for us to dance to. Prepare to play a purple tambourine in purple rain. You may want to come dressed in purple -- or as a purple people-eater. Many of our WBH Collective members will be there to chat about their programs. There is so much you can do on our islands! And you can meet Sue and Lou, our new guide-owls, too.
Even if purple is not your favorite color, please spread the word to your friends and groups. You’ll be supporting a good cause.
