RFL Sunbeamers Bid Me Results (Round 1)

 

Last month, the Relay for Life's Team Sunbeamers started three "Bid Me" fundraisers. On Saturday April 1, two of them concluded. those for team captain Rita Mariner and DJ Snowbuns (Skylark Lefavre) and the results posted by Rita the following day.

There is currently one "Bid Me" still ongoing, Cynthia Farshore's "Bid Me Ruth." It concludes Saturday April 8 at 8 PM SL time as the party at Club Cutlass concludes. 

 

As of the writing of this article, the "Sunnies" have raised over 517,000 Linden dollars, in Jade rank and in the top ten teams.

In The Purple For The Sunbeamers

Taken at Rita Mariner's home. When the Sunbeamers Relay team hit Platinum level fundraising, or 250,000 Lindens, a couple months ago, Nydia told everyone if the team hit Sapphire rank she would go purple for two weeks. So with the team having achieved Sapphire in the air show, Nydia went ahead and got a purple vixen avatar. Even though others had told her they'd take one of her weeks for her, Nydia says she'll go through the full two weeks, "I am a vixen of my word."

Yours truly is on the right. Even though I had the purple otter avatar, when finding a fennec fox on sale I went ahead and got it. So I've been going about the SL15B as a purple fennec. As for the kilt, my time on "Bid Me Pantsless" ends today. So thankfully back to wearing trousers.

Dusk Griswold's "Bid Me" 2016

With yours truly's "Fox Avatar Challenge" up in a few days, another of the Sunweavers has stepped up for another "Bid Me" style event: Dusk Griswold. Once again, a number of kiosks have been placed in the Club Cutlass lounge, a total of five, one for each of the five avatars in which the highest one determines what look she'll have on for at least a week, depending on how much is raised.


DUSK GRISWOLD has put herself for a BID ME!  She will transform for a minimum of 1 WEEK, into a RED FOX, GAZELLE, BUNNY, FENNEC, SQUIRREL!  Any bids that go over 5K get another week and for 20K, she stays stuck that avatar until RFL weekend.  So if you want to pick DUSKs' PLUMP avatar, get bidding!  Kiosks located in CUTLASS lounge area. 


Dusk on occasion wears each of these avies, though the gazelle is the most recent one, popular among the Sunweavers due to the singing character of the same name in the movie "Zootopia."

The kiosks are in the lobby of Club Cutlass, at Sunweaver Bay (114/122/157).
