Furry Club Alliance Meeting

On Sunday March 5, the Furry Club Alliance held a meeting in a small office just outside Club Xanadu in HV Community. There were a few concerns discussed, such as the reopening of the classic rock club,

Perri Prinz is the current head of the group created to discuss and offer possible solutions to clubs in the group. Currently, the clubs and hangouts in the group are Club Cutlass, The Happy Vixen Beach Club, The Gathering Oak, and Club Xanadu which officially rejoined that day after reopening.

Commentary: The Interstellar Alliance Roleplay

FoxytheJamie recently took a look at a science-fiction roleplay known as the Interstellar Alliance, or ISP. He describes the group as getting a good start, with a first class sim and a great group. Unfortunetly, difficulties led to the group having to move, followed by the leader deciding to make a few changes. The results, Jamie felt, were disappointing.

Meanwhile, Back in Azeroth

After a break that's lastesd for months, I finally made the decision to give World of Warcraft another try, signing up just in time to get the Horde chopper. So what's going on Azeroth besides trick or treats and trying to clobber the Headless Horseman? The recent update preceding the upcoming expansion in a few weeks gives players a taste of what they'll be facing. The Iron Horde is marching into the Blasted Lands where the Dark Portal is, and both Horde and Alliance are in it's path.

For players whom have already clobbered Hellscream, the rewards won't match the gear they've likely gotten. But those whom haven't quite reached the gear level needed to take on the Siege of Ogrimmar will get a boost that should allow them to skip a couple raid instances. And thanks to the update, finally Ogrimmar no longer looks like Hellscream is still in charge.

So is yours truly back in Azeroth to stay? We'll see. The upcoming expansion isn't exactly getting lots of chatter among my circle of friends.

Changes in the FCA

Second Life's clubs are a fun place to go and listen to a little music and chat with friends. But they can also be a lot of work, finding DJs, setting themes and schedules, etc. And with so many clubs, sometimes some end up having to share audiences. The FCA club alliance has offered clubs where all types of avatars are welcome a chance to avoid conflicting schedules and an easier time for DJs and club owners to set up events. In recent weeks, the organization has gone through a busy time, and more than a few changes.
