Cartoon of The Day: Driven Batty

Taken at the Winter Burn. Not sure why he was wearing bat wings, but given the dumpster fire real-life news can sometime be, I could think of one reason.

Cartoon of The Day: Red Bull Gives You What?

Taken at the Christmas Expo, I saw this winged lady. I promptly thought of a certain commercial.

Cartoon of the Day: Batty Catty

Taken at Dreamworld Gem. Someone had a cat with bat wings. I couldn't help but wonder if the critter might not like that too much.

Cartoon of The Day

Taken at the Happy Vixen. Being able to glide in the air would have it's advantages, such as being able to avoid rush hour on the freeway.

Cartoon of the Day: DDR Winning Move

Taken at the RFL Home and Garden gacha sale. There was a spinoff of the "Dance Dance Revolution" arcade game there, which two ladies I was with tried out. Some gamers take energy drinks to stay alert for long periods. But would "Red Bull" give another advantage?

Maru from the Sunweaver Estates gets her time on Santa's lap. But what she wants might not fit the North Pole's decency code.

Remembering Osprey Therian

Last week, noted Second Life resident Osprey Therian passed away. This weekend, residents got together to remember the creative personality and what she accomplished from her creations like the duck on a bike and moth avatars to the games and media productions she was behind. It was a service that only could be done in virtual reality, and ended on a poetically fitting note.

Read the story in Events.

Cartoon of the Day: "When Horses Fly"

Lately my partner Jasmine's been raising Amaretto horses. And recently they've come out with a winged variety. But what they didn't tell her: the critters on occasion take off from the ground. And one day while at the ranch, we saw this.

"Horses do fly!" Okay, now that this is happening, we can we expect a balanced budget, a lag-free Second Life, etc.
