New Linden Homes: Copperfield Heights

 

As it turned out, the new sims just off the west Bellisseria coast that appeared this week turned out to be the first location for the next group of Linden Homes. The news was announced by Linden Lab yesterday, Thursday February 26.

Update On The Mystery Rocks

 

When we last wrote about the mystery rocks on three locations on the Second Life Mainland, we reported that what we found stated that something would happen on Monday February 16. Going back to check, there were a few changes. Plus we were also tipped on something else.

 Yours truly has been busy, and wasn't able to finish writing something before the need for sleep took over (or maybe was busy to the point he couldn't start). We'll have something up once there's been a chance to rest.
  

Later: Film Threat Screening Event

 

Yesterday, Thursday July 29, there was an "exclusive invitation" by Linden Lab to the residents.  There was a showing of a trailer at a theater-themed area: Film Threat. The trailer was for "Attack of the Doc," a documentary of "Attack of the Show," a live TV show that aired from 2005 to 2013.

Later: Oberwolf Linden (Bradford Oberwager) Speaks

  

On Monday June 21 at 2PM SL time, there was a special episode of "Lab Gab." For the first half of the show, Bradford Oberwager was interviewed as Oberwolf Linden, his first public appearance inworld. The interview was done by Strawberry Linden.

We'll have something on the interview soon. It's been a busy week.

The 2021 Relay Kickoff

 

The biggest charity group in Second Life is the Relay for Life. And on Saturday February 20, they started their official fundraiser season. There was plenty of excitement, lots of music, and plenty of fun. The Newser was there and took a few pictures.

I had a few things to write about. But unfortunately I have been busy. So the articles will have to wait a little longer until I've gotten some rest. So stay tuned. They will soon be up.

Did the Fairelands Quest with the help of a few friends before it closes down on Wednesday. But it meant staying up a bit. So today's articles will be delayed until I get some much needed rest.

Later: The Yamato

About five years ago, the Newser reported on the inworld replica of the Japanese battleship Yamato. Recently, we were informed that the ship is apparently back in Second Life after having been gone for about a year. We'll have more information, and pictures, later today.

Valentines Day parties include Mystery from 12 to 2PM SL time, and Castaway Cove at 6PM SL time.

The end of "March Madness" doesn't mean the end of the basketball season. In Second Life, it's only just begining. Later today, SL Newser will take a look at this sport on the Grid.

A club that first appeared in 2004, but whose original owners had to move on, and found itself passed on a couple times, is finally being brought back into service. Second Life Newser will have more on this story later today.
