Press Release: Haunted Nawlins Howloween 2024

 

"Haunted Nawlins Howloween!" is a sim-wide yearly gala in FLOX: a wild celebration of Samhain, Halloween, and Dia de los Muertos.  Our grand, feral festival feeds on dark humor, a plethora of premium gifts, and the rotting bones of long-forgotten tourists.

Top features include: free games & prizes, roaming interactive characters, live entertainment & parties, shopping, food, fun, and last but never least: Trick-or-Treating for all ages!

Trick-or-Treat?  YES!  Grab a "Trick or Treat HUD" (free or deluxe) at the Arrival Building.  Wear it to collect points and goodies by knocking on doors (when the light is on!).  Then trade those points for prizes at the French Market.

This event is rated Moderate due to mildly-mature and scary content.  However, we have a ”PG-ish” less-spooky section in the SE sim quarter. Families and small ones are welcome there.  Just follow the bats on the ground.

 "HOWLOWEEN" means all things spooky, monstrous, dark, and haunted (not gory).  Our celebration is grand, fun, wild... and interspersed with Dark Humor, Magick, and the (un)Dead.  We include Dia de los Muertos!
 
Celebrate the scary season in Haunted Nawlins (New Orleans).  Trick or treating for ALL ages, not just kids.  (Due to mature & spooky content, underage players should have adult supervision).

Lots of games, free unisex gifts, tons of food both creepy and Cajun!  Explore the French Quarter, dodge the zombies, barrel through the Bayou!  Another fantastic Festival in Flox.

Mieville Haunted Nawlins

Gemma Cleanslate's tour of Halloween places took her to spooky place called "Mieville Haunted Nawlins." Resembling a haunted version of Mardi Gras, there's a parade of floats and many of the buildings down the street have a New Orleans kind of charm, in a spooky way. But there's much more to see and do, including freebies to grab, and frightful things to see.
