"Bid Us Squirrels" Results

 

On Saturday April 13, the "Bid Us Squirrels" fundraiser by the Relay for Life's Team Sunbeamers was concluded. Team Captain Rita Marnier posted the results in an announcement.

 

Bixyl and Charlie BID ME is done, Here are the results.                      
 KEEP THEM FOXY = 5350L
 
Turn them SQURRIELY  = $25,900 L
 
 They go Black Squrriels for 5 weeks
 So until MAY 18th.
 

This makes for, officially, a grand total of 31,250 Linden dollars raised in the Sunbeamer's first joint "Bid Me" event. Usually, the totals for these fundraisers are finalized at around 8PM, at the end of the Cutlass Saturday night party. But this time they were announced earlier in the day.

 

So until mid-May, Second Life Newser's foxy reporter and Club Scorn's foxy DJ, Bixyl and Charlee Shuftan (Charlee Snowfox) will be "going squirrley." Hopefully the coffee machines have hazelnut varieties. 

The other Bid Me fundraiser, "Bid Me Purple," is still going on, at Sunweaver Bay (114/117/757), and is due to end Sunday April 21.

 

As of now, Team Sunbeamers has raised a total of 721,816 Linden dollars, currently in Jade ranks and closing in on Sapphire.
