Announcement: The (Long Overdue) CDS Annual Club Crawl

 

Yup.  12 noon-2pm SLT with DJ Qt at the helm.

Our long overdue pub crawl will commence at Vineria del Ponte, proceed to Lilith's Irish Pub and end with a traditional stop at The NFS Biergarten. DJ Qt will spin the tunes and make sure we get where we're supposed to be (smile).

Taken at the back of "The Blarney Stone" in Dublin. One of the problems of running a pub are the customers who overdo it. If there's no one to take them home, sometimes the best thing to do is find some place for them for the night.

From Second Life Destinations on Friday March 15. The Blarney Stone is a pub located in the appropriately named Dublin sim at (81/81/25). While the biggest crowd is on St. Patrick's Day, it's open all year and has a few events a weel.

Also mentioned was St. Patrick's Town, and the month-long festival in London City.

The latest video from Linden Lab, "Second Life Destinations : Bars and Pubs," was released on March 17. It features two bars, including "The Blarney Stone" of the Dublin sim, perhaps the grid's most famous pub.
