Trans-Sansara Causeway Update

 

Since the last update, I haven't noticed anything new but teasers for what's to come.  On both the Thetis bridge tunnel island and the island on Swanton, I noticed portable barriers and rubber cones set up at the end of the roads. The cement mixer that was part of the equipment added on the Aptos side of the Aptos-Tomales island in late August is now rotating. But more obvious, Wendi Linden had placed a bulldozer.

The building continues on the grounds of the Second Life Thirteenth Birthday celebration. This was at the southeast corner of SL13B Captivate, one of the four sims where the "Cake Stage" usually is.

More SL13B Teasers

The Second Life Birthday celebration is just six days away. While the exhibitors are still finishing up their builds and would rather not have pictures of them up for a few days. But they didn't mind pictures of the placeholders they left. And then there were the public builds being set up by the volunteers. Early Gemma Cleanslate showed off a few. Now Bixyl Shuftan has a few more.

SL13B Preparations Under Way

It's just a few weeks until Second Life's Thirteenth Birthday celebration, eight days of events, and seventeen sims to walk around to see the exhibits. But before that, the exhibitors need to build their exhibits. As both a volunteer for the SL13B and writer for the Newser, Gemma Cleanslate had a few thoughts to share, as well as a few pictures of the "placeholders" the exhibitors left on their plots to mark them as claimed.
