In December, the Newser reported that The Science Circle, a group dedicated to weekly discussions about various scientific topics in Second Life, had closed. But it seems the shutdown didn't last long. It seems the group came back in January, and has continued to have Saturday discussions. Their website is still down, but descriptions of events are on a LinkedIn page.
