Reader Submitted: Brazilian Air Force at the Blake Sea

July 4th saw a number of events across Second Life. Most were associated with the USA's Independence Day. But a team of pilots calling themselves the Brazilian Air Force stole the show at the Relay for Life's event at the Haggerty sim in the Blake Sea. Cynthia Farshore was there, and sent the Newser some pictures.

The pilots did both formation flying ...

And some fancy flying, leaving colorful streams of smoke behind.

But not everything went as planned. One guy ended up making a bad landing. Fortunately in Second Life, one just has to tip the plane back up and take off again.

Commentary: The Boys From Brazil - The Megiddo

Foxythejamie has been in Second Life's combat areas again. This time, he writes about a team called Megiddo. Made up of Brazilians, and other combatants from around the world, Jamie writes that other squads have been questioning their performance. He went on to say that these rumors are false.

Cartoon of the Day

Taken at "Yuri's Night" in the Sci-Lands. This lady from Brazil had "Order and Progress" not on a flagpole, but in her pants. Perhaps it's among the most realistic ways one would go about carrying a flag of that size about. But considering it's tucked in her butt pocket, fodder for humor.
