Klub Sinau on NonProfit Commons

The NonProfit Commons are known to a number in Second Life. The goal of it's people is "to educate, inspire, and work together to assist our fellow avatars," and "welcome all who wish to join us as partners, collaborators, or supporters." Among it's members is Newser writer Marcel Mosswood. In her article today, she writes about Klub Sinau. In real life, it's an organization in Indonesia which helps out parents with home schooling. Marcel built an office in the Aloft Nonprofit Commons sim representing it.

Putri Second Life Indonesia 2019 Pageant

Marcel Mosswood recently found about a beauty pageant in Second Life, though not just any pageant. The Putri Second Life Indonesia 2019 Pageant, has the purpose of women from the country to "become an inspiration and role model because of their beauty, brain, and behavior." Marcel got in touch with one of the committee, whom had a number of things to say about it. The final events of the pageant will be this Sunday at 6AM SL time.
