Sad news for fans of the Furbidden Club. On Sunday September 13, it was revealed there was an announcement by owner Skitty (XxwildskittlesxX Resident), saying the club would be closing.
Unfortunately due to my recent health issues and tight margins I have sadly decided to pull the plug on Furbidden for a moment to take care of my health and RL more because it is critical to my survival. I will be continuing to support our community and also helping Fluff & Stuff more. The costs of land are just too much for me at the current moment but I plan to create more fun experiences to share with you and I love and support you all so much. We have about 3 weeks left :c.
"This is still something that was going to occur but I am not really stopping what I do here and want to emphasize that, if people want to put the art I made above the community itself that's on them but we're all still here and will be in a club more than likely. If there is suddenly a demand for an entire region of all the things in one space I'll consider it. But I don't think people want that much from SL most of the time. But with my health concerns I want to address that and take a break to enjoy SL more. Get my spark back ... "
The description of the place is, "Furbidden is a immersive club and hangout experience for the furry and music lover community on SL! Enjoy a magical forest environment with many activities to do as well as live mix DJs and sensual areas." The sim, which has the same name, is rated Adult. The place had a number of events every week, including DJ Tantari whom had been playing each Sunday.
