Winter Burn Starts Today

 

Today is the start of the Winter Burn event in Second Life, with three days of art and music in the Burning Man- Deep Hole sim. The theme is "Bubble Gum and Duct Tape."

Yesterday was the "Burn2 Unplugged" event, with some hours of music.

Press Release: Burn2 Unplugged

Burn2 is pleased to announce the first annual Burn2 Unplugged event, which will feature acoustic music streamed live to you in the virtual world of Second Life.

The following musicians have generously donated their talents to this event: Wolfie Starfire, Kitzie Lane, Suzen Juel, Zorch and Lexie, Gypsy Dhura, Reno Jones, Thunderfoot, Fly Kugin, Twostep Spiritweaver, and Grace Loundon.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Burn2, which is a nonprofit regional of Burning Man. Below is the official times for each performance:

11 am alt - Wolfe Starfire
12 pm slt - Kitzie Lane
 1 pm slt -  Suzen Juel
 2 pm slt -  Zorch and Lexie
 3 pm slt -  Gypsy Dhura
 4 pm slt -  Reno Jones
 5 pm slt -  Thunderfoot
 6 pm slt -  Fly Kugin
 7 pm slt -  Twostep Spiritweaver
 8 pm slt -  Grace Loundon
