Brandi Streusel Gets Online Store, "Brandi's Online"

Brandi Streusel is known in Second Life as a DJ, as well as having a line of undergarments to sell inworld. But recently, she's gotten a website to sell a few real-life items as well: "Brand's Online,"or just simply called "Brandi's."

"I just opened my first RL online store! Can't wait to add more to it," she would say on Discord, "It really is a great way to start making money. I didn't have to put any money into it."

"Brandi's Online," is hosted on Teespring, which calls themselves "a no risk turn-key solution to you running your commerce business, we handle everything from marketing, production, fulfillment and customer service."

White Vixen Now Selling Real Life Products

"White Vixen" the group in which Nydia Tungsten's venues, businesses, and media fall under, now has an outlet not in Second Life but on the Internet. She signed up with "Zazzle," and now has a webpage which a number of shirts and coffee mugs for sale, not for Second Life avatars, but for people to use in real life.

Wikipedia defines Zazzle as "an online marketplace that allows designers and customers to create their own products with independent manufacturers (clothing, posters, etc.), as well as use images from participating companies." And so Nydia's page allows customers to purchase t-shirts and coffee mugs with some of her logos of "Nydia's Angels" and "Angel Productions."

The prices vary per design. The two-toned mug on the webpage costs $21.70 USD, but it can be discounted to $18.45 for a solid white mug. The most economical kind of t-shirt is $19.95 USD. There are other options for the mugs ant t-shirts one can choose for a little more money.

Project Sansar Login Page, CNN Article

With the public viewing of Linden Lab's "Project Sansar," it's next generation virtual world, later today, A German blogger, Echt Virtuell, posted a link to what looks like it's login page, along with a screenshot of it, at www.projectsansar.com. The page is not a static one, the white outline of various objects morphing and changing with the passage of time against a wilderness backdrop.

Project Sansar has been making real-life news, one article appearing on CNN's website a few days ago on September 15 by Heather Kelley. She describes Second Life as "an aging virtual world" that while still used by "hundreds of thousands of loyal users" and profitable, "but it's not the future. ... Starting fresh gave Linden Lab a chance to rethink how a virtual world is organized and how it makes money." She describes a few things what the Lindens have been building, "They've made a desert scene with crazy big machinery, weird futuristic lounges and a famous landmark. They've even created an exact replica of a conference room in Linden Lab's San Francisco office, down to the objects on the desk." And it seems the release date, once described as "sometime in 2016," has been moved back to "by the end of 2016."
