Cartoon of The Day: Busted

Taken at the SL22B. The name "Buster Sword" comes from Final Fantasy 7, the character Cloud having a huge oversized greatsword. While it's been thought that this huge hard to wield weapon represented the character's psychological burdens, it's thought the size was because it looked cool. The name of the weapon has sometimes been applied to other similar looking (and impractical in real life combat) swords.

Cartoon of The Day: "Mightier Than The Pen?"

Taken at the WVPBE grounds. Someone was wearing a sword with the logo of the event host group. An education group would surely think "the pen is mightier than the sword." But sometimes it's best to have both.

Cartoon of The Day: Skunky Firepower

Shion Winkler sporting high-tech body armor and a chaingun. So why would a skunkgirl be sporting such firepower? I could think of one reason.

And yeah, she'd need the powersuit as the recoil on a gun like that would be just brutal.

Cartoon of the Day: Balloon Buster

Taken at Club Cutlass. In the past, mass balloon releases were a part of celebrations. Today, they're not done as much out of concern for the environment, notably sea life. While a Gatling gun might be one solution, there's one obvious problem.

Besides Second Life, Grease Coakes has also been spending some time in Guild Wars 2. This MMO game has gotten some attention over time, such as the creativity involved with it's races including one of plant people. Grease has gotten quite good at the game, proud of his "Cat Mage" character. Lately he's made an accomplishment that he's made him a little more proud, acquiring Rodgort the Legendary Torch. So what's Rodgort and how does one go about getting a legendary wepaon? Grease had a few things to say.

The Cornfield: An Old Region Renewed

A few weeks ago, Linden Lab introduced "The Cornfield" game to Second Life. Based upon the prison sim of old Second Life where those accused of breaking the rules were detained, here the griefers truly are monsters whom exist just to harass players and be blown away by them. Gemma Cleanslate recently took a look at the game, and wrote a review. So what did she think?

Cartoon of the Day: WW2 Combat RP

Taken at New Bastogne, not all tanks were huge fifty ton hunks of steel. Some models at the start of the Second World War were small compared to what would roll out in a few years.
