Paradise Eiland
On Saturday November 26 a new location will be opening, the Paradise Eiland Retreat and Event Center. It is a place of healing using alternative New Age therapies for bodily and spiritual ills. Becky Shamen was informed about the place and decided to see for herself how the place could help someone. So what did she think?

Nirvana Island
Becky "Sha" Shamen's explorations took a slightly different path recently. Looking for a place for relaxation and tranquility, she came across Nirvana Island. Located in New Paris, the place offers spots for meditation and relaxation. But there's more, such as homes for newcomers, a nightclub, and discussions and other events every day.

Sha's Thoughts: Ancient Furries
Becky "Sha" Shamen's latest column was inspired by thinking about the few places in Second Life that do not allow furry avatars. She reveals a bit about her philosophy and worldview as she looks into the history (and pre-history) of anthromorphic beings. Among other reasons that prejudice against residents preferring furred avatars doesn't make sense, Becky suggests another reason. "Furry" characters have long appeared in human history.
