"The Pond" And "The Forgotten"

In her exploration of nature places, Gemma Cleanslate came across two more. At the first, "The Pond," the huge scaled-up dimensions of the place reminded her of the classic "Greenies" house, but this was all outdoors. At "The Forgotten," she finds ruins of a castle that had once saw better days, but now slowly being reclaimed by nature.

New Sponsor: The Deathlands

The Newser has a new sponsor today: The Deathlands. The place is a roleplay area described as "an isolated post-apocalyptic island community where a handful of hardy survivors desperately cling to what passes for life after the nuclear winter." The place is run by Rebel Wolf (HermitBlue).

All species of visitors are welcomed, though please mind the rules, notably no flying, no laggy gestures and light shows, and above all no child avatars.

That in a nutshell describes the environment of "The Deadlands," a roleplay sim of life after the apocalypse. I recently had a tour of the place from the owner. But not everything was bleak. While there, a party was thrown.
