With the end of the Relay's Living Expo, five teams of the 152 registered are beyond the half million mark. Fifth is One More Light at over 793,000 Linden dollars and at Sapphire-level fundraising level. Fourth is The River of Life at over 1,054,000 Lindens and Emerald rank. Of other noted teams, the Cure Chasers and Steelhead Salmons have made it to Platinum and should continue to rise. The Relay Rockers are currently Gold-ranked and are practically certain to make and surpass Platinum as donations come in from "Bid Me Bald" events and the Relaystock. The Giant Snail Races, Roos With A Dream, the Second Life Cheerleading Squad, and Harmony of Hope are also Gold. Purple Tears, Bonanza Country, Meli's Maniacs, Burners Without Borders, and Relay for Christ are currently Silver. The Gorean team and the Second Life Coast Guard are currently Bronze.

As fundraising events continue to bring in donations, teams will continue to rise, and no doubt some new teams will make a strong showing among longtime champions.

And the opening music will be part of a player's first impressions of a game. Cyfir (Cyfiremmerich) decided to write a commentary on what he thought were the ten best video game tunes. Some of the games were well known. Others, including his favorite, not everyone would know about.
