A Flower To Remember The Fallen At Brussels
Late last month, Islamofacist terrorists stuck again, this time in Brussels Belgium, killing more than thirty and injuring hundreds. Previous attacks of terror have inspired responses large and small in Second Life. Recently, I was handed this attachment, a carnation colored black, red, and yellow, the colors of the Belgian national flag.
It's possible we'll be seeing these around again on July 21, as it's Belgium's Independence Day, or "National Day" as they call it.

The Zillion: Recreating the Real Life Disco of Antwerp
By Wesley Regenbogen
In the mid 90s there
was a disco in Antwerp, Belgium, in Western Europe which was called
“Zillion.” Most people in Belgium
refered to is as “The Zillion”, because it was unique in it’s
form. I never went to the
disco myself, but I have heard stories about it. Most of the visitors
were Belgians and also Dutch people, because the disco was on the
north of Antwerp. Zillion was a disco in
real life Antwerp that made people party at
the end of the 90s and beginning of the 2000s.
In 2001 the real life
disco closed down. Now 14 years later, it
has been recreated by Jean Vincent in Second Life, with permission of
the original owners of the real life Zillion disco, of course. He began on the 20th of April,
2015. He also decorated the
place in respect of the real life Zillion disco and he did a really
nice job recreating its vibe. Not
only the disco was recreated, but also the surroundings. The
streets were also recreated.
The grand opening event was on May 1, 2015. They
hold regular events on a regular basis in the disco on Fridays and Sundays. The music that is
played in Second Life Zillion is : House, Deep House and Trance. They
even have a live music stream from within the Second Life Zillion
disco itself, so if you are not in Second Life they offer you the
ability to listen to the music when offline in Second Life.

For communicating with their patrons and VIPS, the club has a website, http://secondlifezillion.weebly.com/ , a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/Secondlife.Zillion , and also has a group active for their “VIPs”, called “Zillion
VIPS.”
In
my personal opinion , It’s great to see they are recreating a real
life disco and actually take the effort to recreate all of it in
Second Life !

I
hope to see you there soon !

Club Moonshine
Wesley Regenbogen recent came across a small new club that got his attention: Club Moonshine. The people attending were mainly from Holland and his native Belgium, but there was one other detail: the design. There was no ceiling, and no walls, aside from a hedge.

Woods Club Reopened
Wesley Regenbogen recently found a club that he found interesting, the Woods Club. Having closed its doors a few years ago, it was reopened several months ago under a new owner and a Belgian manager. So what does this club have to offer?
