Cartoon of The Day: Christmas Segway

Taken at EAW. Looks like this segway rider got decorative. Or maybe, it was someone else's doing.

Felina Fermi's House

Felina Fermi is a longtime resident of Second Life and a member of the Sunweaver community. She stands out among her peers for a few things, notably her love of cats, her place has a number of pet kitties running around, and the high level of detail she's given her virtual home. Deaflegacy was recently invited by, and Felina showed her around.

The Halloween "Shop Til You Drop"

From a few days ago until Halloween, Linden Lab is hosting a shopping event, their Halloween "Shop Til You Drop." "With the Creepy Crawl less than two weeks away," they stated on their blog, " it’s time to get serious about Halloween. We’ve been brewing up a wicked treat that’s easy on the eyes and on your Linden wallet. Starting today through October 31st - we’re hosting a shopping event that is sure to liven any dead man’s party! With frights and delights from some of Second Life’s best designers at deals that seem simply insane - this party central for all things Halloween - is your one stop shop ( ‘til you drop!) Costumes, accessories, decor, and much more await you and your friends in this mysterious haunted village. I dare you to venture the cobblestone paths and see what our vendors have in store for you."

Becky Shamen decided to check this event for herself, donning a "Thing" avatar and heading over. So was it spook-tacular, or nothing to be scared about?

Holiday Decor at the Corner

Here come two holidays in a row. Saint Patrick ‘s day on March 17 and Easter on March 31. If you need decorations it is time to get over to the Corner of Revolving Time. In the yard you will find some great decorations all for free as usual.
There are flowers in vases, Flower arches, tables, cakes and gifts, teddy bears and flags.

Pink and Zain have also put out some swings and picnic benches for you to grab. I also found some nice spring trees and flowers for the roof. I also noticed a cute new beach area where you can hang out next to the water slide. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ophelia/34/218/22 .

Don’t waste time before you go over. St Pat’s day is almost here and you will want the pot at the end of the rainbow and the huge shamrock hat for that day. All these items are at the best price you can find in SL, FREE.

Laura Liberty’s Valentine Town

Valentine's Day is almost here. And that means getting some gifts for a loved one, or perhaps just walking around in a place with a romantic atmosphere. DrFran Babcock found one such place at Builder's Brewery: Valentine Town. There, one can get some candy & flowers, or a card, or just browse around the sights where love truly is in the air.

"The Corner" Gets Ready for Valentines Day

By Gemma Cleanslate

Now that the Christmas season is done I took a trip over to the Corner of Revolving Time to see if there were new freebies. It was a pleasant surprise! There is a wonderful mixture of winter and Valentine decor waiting for you. Zain Darkworth and Pink Josephina have been busy cleaning up all the free Christmas decor and putting all new items out for you.

While you shop you can skate in the cute little rink they put there. Of course there are free skates if you don’t have any yet. Around the rink are some wonderful winter trees you can pick up for home decor. Over on the other side of the lawn have placed a couple of the free houses they have available in the Corner on the upper floor. They are lovely homes. Inside the corner  building you can still pick up all the free furniture, paintings and other items to decorate the free homes. On the upper floor you will find other models in case those two are not to your taste. While you are up there check out the terrific birthday and rezz day decor in case you are planning a party for someone.

Also note that right now there is a weekly raffle going on if you join the group and put the Corner in your picks. It is well worth it! Vickijo Rivera always has wonderful items donated by creators for each holiday. Some of the trees are from Indy Melody a new creator and  donor to the sim.  Don’t miss it! Before you leave take a tour of the sim.
