Primal Passions Closes

Some sad news for the residents of the Sunweaver/Angel Estates. Last week, the Primal Passions Club was closed. There was no announcement in the club's group, although the owner, Rayven Tentigo (Rayven Avalira), had earlier informed the Newser she would close the venue if numbers did not improve.

The Primal Passions Club, also known as Castle Primal Passions, first opened in November 2014. Rayven and her partner Coeles Tentigo offered the place as an adult-themed club were residents could feel free to indulge in erotic fantasies. In March 2015, the club was moved to the Sunweaver Estates. Besides it's regular events, there were several band tributes at the location, such as an AC/DC tribute that raised 30,000 Lindens for Team Sunweavers in the Relay for Life. Rayven was also the top model bid for in Nydia Tungsten's Angels Calendar Auction for 2015.  The castle would also be the scene for music video filming, as well as birthday parties. Twice it was the location for Nydia Tungsten's "Twisted Christmas" DJ events. The club had gotten praise over the months for it's design.

Despite these events, overall attendance just wasn't high enough. Now, just a bare spot exists where the castle once did. All that are left are the memories of the club that added to the history of the Sunweavcr Estates during the time it was here.

Nydia Tungsten's "Twisted Christmas" Party

Thursday December 17 was the day Nydia Tungsten held her yearly Christmas party. But having got her start in Second Life as DJ "Naughty" Nydia, her party had a special twist. It would consist of comic and parody songs. Some were simply funny such as "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer," and "Christmas at Ground Zero." Others had a bit of an edge to then, such as Shockwave Yarreach's parody "Grandma Got Knocked Up By a Reindeer." And some were so raunchy, we can't even print the names in a workplace-safe publication.

I will be doing a TWISTED CHRISTMAS event tomorrow  from 4 to 6 at Primal Passions, never heard of Naughty Nydia's Twisted Christmas? well lets just say it won't be a "hallmark moment" event  SEE YOU THERE!

The event went from 4 to 6 PM SL time at Rayven Tentigo's "Primal Passions" castle club. The event had originally been called the "Anti-Christmas Party" as a reaction to the over-commercialization of the Holiday to the point the spiritual side of the season was being forgotten. But it seems some people were confused by the event's name, and so Nydia changed it.

Besides the songs, there were a few frisky Christmas cartoons propped up (which we can't show). A number of people dropped by, including Shockwave just in time to hear his parody song, Lomgren Smalls in his signature microkitty avatar, Alleara Snoodle in a white doe avatar (nobody "doe"s it better), Nydia's real-life son Kody, and others.

I did chat with Rayven after the event. She reminded the Newser that the Primal Passions club is an active venue with several events a week and where adults can relax and have fun both during and after the part, the schedule can be found at http://primalpassionsclub.weebly.com/events.html (caution, not all of the pages linked to this one are workplace safe). A fun time was had by all in this chance to have a little cheeky fun with Christmas.

Birthday Party for Dusk Griswold and Skylark LeFavre

It was a double birthday celebration for two of the Sunweaver/Angels, Dusk Griswold and Skylark LeFavre. It was actually Dusk's Rezzday, or the anniversary of when she first came to the Grid, but it was called a birthday party for simplicity. First was the party at the Happy Vixen Beach Club in Purrfection Estates (236, 219, 24).

Come help us celebrate 2 birthdays, Skylark's RL Birthday and Dusk's Rez Day and we will be celebrating both today, come give the their gratz and hugs. DJ Naughty Nydia will be spinning the tunes for them with 80's genre and $500L's on the board....to start

And so for two hours, Nydia would play the tunes while Skylark, Dusk, and the rest of the crowd danced away. Perri Prinz, the tall bunnygirl, took a one day break from her hiatus from Second Life to celebrate with her friends.

The fun would continue later on that evening at Castle Primal Passions, with the owner Rayven Tentigo throwing a private party, complete with poledancers.

Skylark helps out with the events at the castle club and hangout as one of the managers, but this time it was her turn to sit and relax. The DJ cracked a few good natured jokes that included an "Elmer Fudd" laugh or two.

It was a happy celebration for the residents of the Sunweaver/Angels community.

Angels Calendar Auction Raises over 50,000 Lindens

Just before the Happy Vixen underwent it's remodeling, Nydia announced the results of the Angels Calendar Auction, which were held there. The top bid was for Rayven Tentigo of the Primal Passions club and castle, 12,000 Lindens by Mean Spirit. Second was Jessicabelle Dayafter of Dayafter Areonautics and the New Bastogne combat roleplay, 10,000 Lindens by Helte Ironclad. Third was last year's top bid Skylark LeFavre, 5252 Lindens by Kiwi (Fyphfoko Yifu).

Of the spot in the video with the 13 top ladies, the winning bid, 3000 Lindens, was made by Mean Spirit. The total amount of winning bids was over 50,000 Lindens. Half of this will go to the models.

As for the models with smaller bids, Nydia offered them a spot in something else she was working on, the details of which are sill unknown.

The Angels Calendar Auction is a yearly event by Nydia Tungsten to raise Lindens with the purpose of keeping rent payments down.

Angels Calendar Auction at the Happy Vixen

Every year, Nydia Tungsten's Angels group releases a calendar to raise money to help keep it's sims going. For the second year in a row, Nydia is offering up chances to pose with the models in a "calendar auction." But there's something else up for bid as well.

This year we have  14 spots up for auction and 18 models. How this will work is the top 13 models with the highest bids will make it into the Calendar with their bidder. One lucky bidder will get to model with all 13 models in a custom Youtube video that is also being auctioned off.

Come see the reveal of which models will be up for bid this year and make your choice on who you would like to appear with in this years "Angels Calendar"

Half of the winning bids go to the models. The other half goes to help maintain the sims. Things started off with a party on Sunday July 12 with a party at the Happy Vixen club in Purrfection Estates, the location of the calendar auction, and people began the bids on the various models, each whom has a portrait there which one can click on and then place a bid. The models include Nydia and her partner Brandi Streusel, Primal Passions owner Rayven Tentigo (rayven.avalira), Ranchan Weidman, the builder of the SL Newser office, Jessicabelle Dayafter of JessicaBelle Aeronautic Projects, and others. Not all of the bids are for spots in the calendar. There's also a chance to bid on a spot in one of Nydia's videos with all of the models.

AC/DC Tribute Raises 30,000 Lindens for RFL Sunbeamers Team

On Easter Sunday, among the other Relay events going on that afternoon and early evening, one had a bit of an edge to it in the form of an AC/DC tribute concert. Held at the grounds of Castle Primal Passions in the Sunweaver Estates, along with the "Best in Black" event, the concert raised about 30,000 Lindens for the Sunbeamer team.

Relay for Life Benefit DJ Session and Concert Today at Sunweaver Estates

Don't forget, today Castle Primal Passions holds a Relay for Life benefit for Team Sunbeamers. From 2-4PM SL time is a DJ music party. At 4PM is an AC/DC tribute band.

Press Release: AC/DC Band Tribute and Relay For Life Benefit

Castle Primal Passions, which recently held it's first official event since moving to the Sunweaver Estates, will be having a combination band tribute concert and fundraiser for the Relay for Life in behalf of Team Sunbeamers. The event is on Sunday April 5th.

from 2PM to 4PM SL time, there will be a pre-concert party, the theme "Back in Black." There will be a prize of at least 500L, which will increase as more people show up. There will be no active tip jars. Instead donations for the Relay kiosks are asked for.

At 4PM, the action shifts to outside as an AC/DC band performs live on stage. Once again, donations to the Relay kiosks are accepted in lieu of tips.

Press Release: Grand Reopening ofthe Primal Passions Club

The Primal Passions Club has moved from it's former location to the Sunweaver Estates. "And we're going to have a huge grand reopening on (Saturday) the 28th," Rayven Tentigo (rayven.avalira) told the Newser. They'll be kicking things off with the main event being a "Disturbed" tribute concert (the band name).

Bandit Starrwolf (banditwolf100) added, "We are planning a pre-concert party and contest from 6-8, a rock concert by Disturbed from 8-10 and a post concert party and contest from 10-12. The concert will be done by Rockshoppe. The pre-party contest theme will be best in Hard Rock gear. The post-contest will be best in BDSM gear. with starting prizes at 500L but will increase with more patrons entering the contest."

Rayven also stated there are plans for a date raffle, with her for the men and Bandit for the ladies. Rayven stated she can appear on the date either as normal human or her indigo-toned exotic.
