Announcement: Celebrating International Women's Day at Lyuba's Game Center



This Friday, March 8th, is International Women's Day.  To help celebrate, Lyuba's Game Center in Locus Amoenus will host several events throughout the day.  Come for music and chat, then stay for the games!

Friday's events:

    0200 - 0300  DJ Lisa, European electronica
    0500 - 0600  It's a M.A.D. World seminar
    0800 - 0900  Million Women Mentors seminar
    1200 - 1300  DJ Dog, open set
    2000 - 2100  DJ Lyuba, female vocal trance
  International Women's Day 2019 is about celebrating women's achievements and driving gender balance across the world.  It is a day for men to celebrate the women in their lives and for women to celebrate themselves and each other.

Suggested attire is "wear something that makes you feel special".

At Lyuba's Game Center, we will share in viewing the live seminar and participate in our own discussion.

This year's International Women's Day theme is "Balance for Better"; we will be hearing from an international cross-sector of leaders on why gender balance is important to their industry and the economy as a whole, as well as a bit about what efforts are seeing the most impact. Speakers include: Kate Marshall - Lt. Governor of Nevada, Radhika Prabhu - Executive Director US-Pakistan Women's Council, and Jaclyn Bouchard - Manager of Corporate Responsibility at S&P Global. At Lyuba's Game Center, we will share in viewing the live seminar and participate in our own discussion.

The Valentine Interview - Part 2


It's Valentines Day. For the men out there whom are prepared and sure of their gift: congratulations. For those who've waited until the last minute, or haven't had much luck in getting someone a romantic gift, this article just might be for you. In her second of two Valentines Day articles, she sought answers to the question "what do women want?" in regards to a romantic gift. Asking several women, she got several different answers.

Press Release: Bliss Couture Closing Sale


It's been a really wonderful 5 years with Bliss Couture, I've met a lot of wonderful souls along the way, some became my family here, some became rl friends. It breaks my heart saying this but I've decided it's time to close Bliss Couture.

Secondlife has been more than a game to me, Bliss Couture became my therapy. I still remember the days that I woke up all excited feel like the luckliest girls in the world who can play barbie doll game everyday. to create new clothes and be in the world full of wonderful creations and creativity. There are some big changes in my life that I'm no longer able to run this business or create anything.


Thank you for all of my wonderful 50,000 Bliss Dolls who stay with me, who gives me love and support, who appreciate my art and who is always there for me. All your words and love means the world to me.

When I first landed in Secondlife in 2009, it felt really magical, almost like being in a Disney movie. The gratitude I have for you guys are beyond words. I hope Bliss Couture did bring you happiness and joy the past 5 years and I hope there will be more to come in your life.

I still have a couple of things I still haven't put out for sale yet, I will release them at sale price thru out the closing sale. And I will have a closing sale hunt, Will put out all the gifts from the previous years for you dolls. Bliss Couture will be close permanently after the sale.

Thank you for making my dream came true. you dolls brought me more bliss than you can imagine.

At the invitation of Samantha Nightfire, I went to one of the wrestling matches at the UWS Metrodome. I hadn't seen a wrestling match on the Grid before, nor a match on TV since the 1980's, and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Arriving in time to see the women's match, I expected rough, and witnessed rougher.

Women of Juarez Speak in SL

Seeing all those male avatars walking around in pink boots and high heels was a funny sight. But the event was to bring awareness to the numerous killings of women in Juarez Mexico, hundreds of them unsolved. Any1 Gynoid reports on this event, part of the 16 Day Womens Rights Festival in Second Life.
